Ingredients: 4 cups boiling water 1 tsp fresh tea 4 cardamom pods — bruised 1 small piece cinnamon stick Pinch of saffron strands 2 tbsps finely flaked almonds Sugar to taste
Method: 1. Brew the tea and allow to steep for 5 minutes. 2. Add the spices. 3. In each individual bowl or cup, put a teaspoonful of flaked almonds. 4. Pour the tea over the almonds, sweeten to taste and drink hot.
